Good Morning All,

I called Shared Solutions last week to order a new auto injector and they mentioned that Copaxone is now being offered in a 40m dosage where you take the shots 3 days a week instead of daily. I'm just curious if anyone has switched to the high dosage and if so what has been your experience so far.

I also heard about this. Gonna talk to my Dr. about it in June. Just got a shipment of my regular shots. So I hope after I can go to theses! Hope you get some feed back, I'd love to know also!

Thanks. I don't think I'm ready to switch yet. If you do decide to move to the new shots I would love to hear your experience.

I see my Dr. Monday on switching. When I seen him a few months ago he told me they would be coming out so I am assuming he will switch me he already said he recommended it. There is a girl in my support group who has been on the clinical trial since August and said she had no issues. I did look it up on my insurance website and I am curious why it is so much cheaper for the new dose. The 40mg was only about $400 a month compared to $5000? I will ask the Dr. seems strange.

That's interesting that the price. I guess it all depends of what the various insurance companies. I'm curious is it will have the same side effects as the lower dosage or if the side effects will be multiplied. I guess only time will tell.

I just switched and am waiting to get the order. I was running out of places with good fat to put the shot. Doing this one 3 days a week should help lesson skin damage. Also I trust copaxone.
