Oddly, and I mention this like a broken record skips over and over, but... After I read Mark Hyman, MD, Carolyn Dean MD, Russell Blaylock MD and a few more viewpoints and their research on magnesium citrate or magnesium malate or even magnesium citrate/malate, I have never looked back after starting to take this supplement.
I've (almost) never had any pain with MS though. Once back in the beginning before my diagnosis, I did have some stabbing pain in my thigh but it never came back after that one time back in 2000.
It doesn't work as well for me as Tramadol, but since Tramadol can be addictive, my neuro doesn't want me to stay on it for too long. So I switch back and forth.
