This is my only option for neuropathy, and I'm wondering if anyone has more experience than I on this drug. I took it one day, and my heart was racing. Maybe I did not give it enough time to do it's job...? I may never know, but I've had lots of foot pain. My neuro thought this would help... Any thoughts?

I wish I could give you a positive feedback....but, I also was put on it and after 2 weeks I had to get off of it. I became a complete basket case, heart racing, terrible mood swings, I thought I was losing it. But that is just me. I know many have had good reports from it.

CJ - I have taken it for about one month now. It takes my headaches away but makes me very tired. I keep hoping that will pass with time but so far it hasn't.

But I should add - my mom took it when she had her neuro disease and she would have killed to get more of it if she were to run out of it. It really helped her a lot.

Lyrica - It is new & expensive but supposed to be better than Neurontin.

i take it for nerve pain and it works GREAT for me! i use 1200 mg. at a time
