Have any of you experienced where it seems that your nerve endings are close to your surface , where when you take a shower and when the water hits your body like your leg (or whatever body part ) you feel your legs buckle and shake from weakness

I took one shower during my last attack and it was hell. Everything just contracted like crazy. Very painful. Hot water and ms, not a good combo

I wasn't even hot water it was luke warm if that. They(my legs) just twitch whenever.

This is something I always watch out for. If the shower is too cold or too hot, my legs will begin to buckle.

It sounds like it may have just been a coincidence that you were in the shower. Were you in the middle of a flare up? I never know what to expect with the twitching myself. Once one of my legs starts up, it just does what it does.

I haven't noticed any problems with hot, but cold water or cold weather makes them lock up, When that happens, walking is out of the question. I really can't describe the pain, I just grimace through it. Once I'm warm though, they will work again.

Also, was this a new symptom? Just curious. But anyway, hope it's temporary.

This happens to me each time I shower. Therefore, I make certain the water temp is tolerable before I get in. I use a bath stool too...for something to support my buckling wobbly legs.
