In the meantime I would definately try ginger tablets from health food shop as that helps. We put a bit of ginger in with veges etc too, adds a bit of taste but mainly helps me to swallow the food without the gag reflex.
Do make a note of it & get it checked.
also might try:
lemon w/ salt
cinnamon or cloves (just put some in your mouth)
red raspberry
1/2 teas. cumin seeds
lying on right side while sleeping
not eating too much or before bed
avoid oily, spicy foods
drink water, other beverages can irritate your stomach
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon honey, in cold water--take before bed
boil 1/2 cup rice in 1 1/2 cups water--then remove cooked rice and drink the water--excellent cure for nausea!
Ice chips
When none of this helps I go to the ER. LOL my record was twelve hours straight of vomiting. :( Some people recommend acupuncture or yoga as being helpful for nausea as well...
When I take xanax or anything like it I have terrible acid reflux, some nausea and it feels strange when I swallow.
