So, I tried to find my other typed out list of symptoms, history, sugeries,etc.... before I had to go & could not find it! So I wrote out by hand on some notebook paper all of my symptoms that I could possibly think of & explained on a few of them! So I took that with me! When I filled out the new paperwork I had to fill out a history & a lot of stuff about my symptoms, etc...

So, anyway! When I got back in the room the doctor came in almost immediatly!? He acknowledged me right off! And, was very very nice!!! He went over all that stuff on those papers I had to fill out! Which all the other docs I've seen haven't even done! And, then he perceeded to ask me a lot of detailed questions about my symptoms, etc... And I told him that I had taken time to write down a lot of my symptoms & some details about them & that I had brought them with me! Then, he looked & said; Oh yes! I see them here now! Then he looked at them & he said--THIS IS REALLY REALLY NICE WHAT YOU HAVE DONE HERE! WRITING ALL YOUR SYMPTOMS DOWN FOR ME & WRITING DETAILS ABOUT THEM! THIS IS SO VERY GOOD OF YOU! He said that he wished more patients would do that!

So then he very carefully went over each & every symptom, one at a time! NOW THAT ALONE WAS AMAZING! HE IS THE 1ST DOCTOR THAT HAS DONE THAT! PERIOD!!! Was very impressed right off the bat!!!

Then he asked me if I had seen any other doctors! And, I told him many, no Ra for any of this stuff! But I had seen many bad family doctors. He wanted to know if I had any family doc! I told him NO! Because I had quit this last one & told them to get my records ready that I was coming to get them asaic! I did not mention her by name! But I did tell him about some of my experience with her! I did that because if I mentioned her by name or that I had just now quit her, he would want to get records faxed over & this lady is crazy! She is the one that on the 1st visit, told me that when I presented all those symtoms to a doctor it made me look a "crazed lunitic druggie!!!"

So, no telling what kind of crazy shit she had written about me in the records! And, I wanted a good clean, non-influenced relationship with this new RA! He seemed to be a great guy & a great doc & I didn't want anything to upset that!

So anyway! Back to matters here! He kept asking if I had been to any Neuro specialists! I did say yes to that one! And, told him about the stupid crap that came out of their mouths! Like the one said: 1st he said that I had nothing wrong, then immediately changed that & said I had an accoustic neuroma! And, said if it wasn't that it was some kind of brain tumor--he was sure of that now! Even though one minute sooner he was sure that I was fine!!! Then, the idiot called me right before my MRI to say that he had now changed his mind & that it was now MS!!! And, he was now sure of that! It was OBVIOUS!!!! THAT HE WAS NOT SURE OF ANY DAMNED THING! Then, on the one test he said that it showed something, then turned around in the same phone conversation & said that it didn't & that it was now okay!

So that nut just chucked it all up to migraines I guess??? Since I could never get any real answer from him I don't know??? So, then I told him about that last one & how that nut job said: Well, you don't have MS because: No plaques! And, MS does not act that way!!! It does not come & go like that & have periods of symptoms & then periods of no symptoms! You have a set amount of symptoms & they have to be constant in order for it to be MS! Then, that nut job went on to say: In fact! None of your symptoms are even neurological!!! You don't belong in my office!!! You belong in an RA office! And, he was supposed to make a gosh darned referral, but never did!!!

I have been knocked out of an RA referral by every damned doctor that I have seen! I wanted to see an RA a long time ago for the simple reasons of: There are no doctors on this planet any more through then an RA! No doctor out there will put you through any more tests trying to find out what is wrong with you!!! They are always determined to rule out everything on the freaking planet so that they can use that to narrow things down & to rule in other shit! Process of elimination!

So, anyway, this RA says: You have got to be kidding me!? And, I say NO! That's exactly what they said! And, I told him that that was absolutely rediculous!!! Not only was my symptoms in the whole MS rim of things!!! But they were most definately neurological! And, he said: Oh Yes mame!!! They are most definately neurological! You are right about everything that you have said here! Then, he said; Well! You need to find a really really good family doc & you need to find a really really good neuro doc!

He said that with all of the bad stuff that I have going on that I need a very good family doc that will not only listen to me but will also take all of this very very serious & that will keep track of it all & that will monitor me! He said; You really really need to watched & monitored very very carefully! NONE! OF WHAT YOU HAVE GOING ON IS NORMAL! YOU HAVE SOMETHING VERY SERIOUS GOING ON HERE & YOU NEED TO BE TAKEN VERY GOOD CARE OF!

And, you really really need a very good neuro! He said; I will do a through exam here & will do a lot of testing, but I will tell you right now before I do all of that what I think! I think that you do not have PA! Nor do I think that you have gout! Other than some basic arthritis stuff from injuries & age I do not think that you have anything that belongs in my field unless you have FM!? You may have FM also in conjunction with what I think that you have, but I think that is all that you have on my end of things!?

He said that he was asking about the neuro docs because he believes that I have MS!!! He said, I will tell you now!!! The second I read through all of the symptoms that you had listed on the papers & the second we went over your very well put together list of symptoms, the 1st thought out of my head was--THIS LADY HAS MS!!! AND, SHE NEEDS TO BE SEEN BY A NEURO ASAP!!! I do not think that she belongs with me but belongs with a very good neuro!

He said that in his opinion that I have MS! And, that I need to be with a good neuro who can treat me for my MS! He said, that since I do not have a good family doctor & since I have had bad neuros who have refussed to belive me or to listen to me even, or to plainly see that I have MS, & that I need to be treated for that; & since they threw me off to an RA/him, that he was going to do all that he could to get me to a diagnosis!!!

He said that since I was with him now, that he would go ahead & do bloodwork & x-rays etc.... to rule in or out an RA diagnosis! He said; Again! You may have FM in addition to your MS but I firmly believe that you definately have MS!!! He said that in the mean time he wanted me to keep trying & to work really hard on rounding me up a very good family doc! And, he wants me to do the same with a neuro! He may help me with the neuro!?

He said I will go ahead & do all of the necessary tests to rule out everything else! Then, when you see another neuro, you will have all of my tests & diagnosis & opinions to take to them! So they don't just do the same thing & try to make it out to just be an RA problem! And, everything he does will go far in ruling things in or out! And, I will have all of this to take with me to them, so I can say that I have been here & had all of this done, & this is not PA, OR GOUT, OR GOUTY ARTHRITIS, ETC... I have been to an RA & he has ruled out all of this stuff & he says that this is MS & that I need to see you!

So again!!! VERY VERY IMPRESSED!!! He did examine me! And, I did talk with him about that whole UA thing!? And, he said this: From my examination of you just now & from all of the symptoms that you are suffering from--IN MY OPINION! YOU DO NOT HAVE GOUT!!! YOU DO NOT HAVE GOUTY ARTHRITIS!!! AND, YOU CERTAINLY DON'T HAVE RA! I already had a couple of RA tests done by other docs & knew that it wasn't RA!!! But i was considering the possiblity of PA--based on the ER findings!

He is going to check to make sure that I don't have PA! AND! HE ALSO SAID--THE SAME THING THAT I DID! AND, THAT I ARGURED WITH THESE OTHER IDIOTS! HE SAID: JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE AN ELEVATED UA DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU HAVE GOUT! OR GOUTY ARTHRITIS!!! THERE ARE MANY MANY REASONS THAT THAT CAN BE ELEVATED! LIKE YOU HAVING MS!!! OR A HUGE NUMBER OF OTHER REASONS! BUT I WILL CHECK ALL OF THAT TOO TO TRY & FIND OUT WHAT IS CAUSING IT TO BE ELEVATED!?

He said that it was sooo very bad & sooo very sad that I have has such bad doctors!!! And, they have all blown me off & have not listened to me & have treated me so very badly & unprofessionally!!! He said that he just cannot believe that any doctor could behave that way & still call themself a doctor!

He said; TO ME! IT IS SOOOO BLATENLY OBVIOUS THAT YOU HAVE MS! AND, THAT YOU HAVE SOMETHING SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH YOUR HEATLH! NONE OF WHAT YOU HAVE GOING ON IS NORMAL! AND, I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT IT WOULD NOT RAISE ANY RED FLAGS OR SIGNAL TO ANY OF THESE OTHER DOCTORS THAT YOU HAVE SOMETHING MAJOR SERIOUS WRONG HERE!?

He said that he will do all that he can on his part to do as many tests as he can on his end! To rule in or out as many things as he possibly can! But, he said that in the mean time he wants me to find/get a really good family doc asap! Because I need a really good one to help me with all of these symptoms & to help treat them so I can get some relief or care in the meantime! And, he wants me to get to a good neuro asap because he believes firmly that I have MS & need to be treated for that!

So Ashley, was supposed to schedule those tests today & then get in touch with me! But I did not hear from her all day! And, everytime I called I got put on hold forever & she never came back! They were very very busy today! So hopefully she will call tomorrow & will have them scheduled for me!

I AM THRILLED THAT I FOUND HIM & FOUND HIM THAT QUICKLY!!! AND, THAT I WAS ABLE TO GET IN REAL EARLY ON A CANCELLATION APPT.....! AND, THAT HE WAS VERY VERY NICE & SWEET! AND, THAT HE INSTANTLY TOOK ME VERY VERY SERIOUSLY!!! AND, THAT HE IS GOING TO DO AS MANY TESTS AS HE CAN TO HELP IN THE ROAD TO ME GETTING SOME MUCH NEEDED ANSWERS & A MUCH NEEDED DIAGNOSIS! Oh ya! That was something else that he said!

He said: What you need first & formost is-A diagnosis! Because without that you cannnot get the help that you despartely need!!! But, when you get a diagnosis, then & only then will you get the help that you need so very very much! And, he instantly put me on pain meds! I told him the combination of meds that helps me the most! And, he said, Okay! Since you know this combination already works for you I want to keep you on that! So I will write a script right now for those meds! And, he raised the dosage on the one!

Which is great for me--not only because I need them but also because I was totally out of the one! And, it is the one that makes me sleep! And, that helps me to get any rest at all!

I am scheduled to see him on the 23rd of Nov. @ 2:30 I think!? To go over the results & any further opinions on his part & to get a diagnosis of somekind!? She gave me a card but didn't write the stupid appt.... on the card! Go figure! Hopefully I have a more definitive cause on the eleated ua!

So! Over all! Great & wonderful doc! Very nice! Very caring! Very compassionate towards me & all that I am suffering or going through! Totally listened! Totally believed me! Totally took me serious & did not make me into a joke!!! Did NOT treat me like I'm a crazed lunitic druggie!!! And, really wants to see me get the care & help that I so very much deserve!

He said that I was a very very nice lady!!! And, that it was obious that I not only needed much help but that I was suffering & needed it yesterday! He said that it was ashamed that I was so nice & that I had suffered with this for sooo long & that nobody had taken me serious or had tried to help me yet!!!

I INSTANTLY FELT THIS HUGE SIGH OF RELIEF!!! THAT FINALLY!!!! FINALLY!!! I HAD A DOCTOR THAT REALLY CARED!!! THAT TOTALLY TOOK ME VERY SERIOUS & WAS DETERMINED TO HELP ME!!! TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF ALL OF THIS! AND, WHEN HE SAID RIGHT UP FRONT, 1ST THING--THAT I HAVE MS & THAT I NEED A SUPER GOOD FAMILY DOC & A SUPER GOOD NEURO DOC BECAUSE OF THAT! IT JUST MEANT SOOOO DAMNED MUCH TO ME!!! TO KNOW THAT I AM FINALLY BEING LISTENED TO & FINALLY BEEN TAKEN SERIOUSLY!!! AND, FINALLY BEING HELPED IN SOME SMALL OR BIG WAY!?

HE CARED ABOUT THE FACT THAT I AM IN PAIN! THAT I AM NOT SLEEPING BECAUSE OF IT! AND, HE HAD THE DAMNED BALLS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!! HE WASN'T AFRAID TO WRITE ME SOME SCRIPTS! TO HELP ME WITH MY PAIN! AND, HE JUST TREATED ME SOOO DAMNNED COMPASSIONATELY!!! AND, WAS SO VERY SWEET & KIND & GENTLE! HE WAS NOT THE USUAL ARROGANT SNOT NOSE THAT THINKS HE KNOWS IT ALL BUT DOESN'T!!!

THIS GUY IS REALLY SMART & REALLY DOES KNOW SOMETHING! OR THAT'S THE IMPRESSION THAT I HAVE RIGHT NOW! I am NOT glad to hear yet again, that I have MS! The funny thing is: I have not heard this from any of my stupid family docs! Or from any of the idiotic neuros that I've been to! I have heard this from: an urgent care doc, an eye doc, an ENT & from my best friend who is a PT & teaches PT at a local college! And, now, from an RA!

It just never seems to amaze me that being listened to & taken serious & that the thinking that I have MS has come from all of the unlikely of places!? And, none of the ones that should have listened or that should have did anything did do anything! And, I find that just plain terrifying, scary & mind blowing!

I AM MORE CONVINCED THEN EVER NOW THAT MS IS MY DIAGNOSIS!!! AND, I FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT WHEN IT IS ALL SAID & DONE THAT THAT WILL BE MY FINAL DIAGNOSIS! AND, POSSIBLY FM WITH IT!?

I am sad & terrified that this seems to be my almost final diagnosis now! But at the same time I am hugely relieved that a doctor or specialists like him is also making that statement & standing firm on it! I think that between him & the other 3 docs saying that & my best friend standing firm on her belief in that, that that is definately going to be my final diagnosis now!

So I am hugely relieved & very happy on the one hand, yet sad & scared on the other!

Well! Sorry that all of this took so long & so many words! But this has been soooo very long in coming!!!! And, soooo very much needed!!!!

And, I am also very sorry that I have not been on much lately! I have been bad off & have had to go to the ER twice! They put me through the whole heart attack work-up on the last one! But it was just what I told them! I was a problem with my sternum & ribs! I have Costocondritis! And, I have been in a LOT OF PAIN WITH IT!!! And, was having problems before that with being so very sick for a month with that horrible URI!

I had a nurse to tell me that in one of the homes up that way that it went through there & KILLED a large population of their patients!!! She said that it was a really super bad infection that was going around! It is killing people right & left! And, it bought killed me!!! I for sure thought that I was going to die! I am so very glad to be seeminly over it! Though I am still paying with the CC! Very very painful!

I have just been in very bad shape & that is why I have not been here much!

But! Good news! I am doing much better now! Mentally & physically! And, now doctor wise! I am going to make a family doc appt with the group that he is with! They have family docs, specialists, lab, x-ray dept, mri dept. & everything that you need under one roof!! He said that their family docs there were good! So since he is! I am going to make one there!

I have been walking everyday! Going for hikes! Working out on a regular basis now! Doing yoga! And, getting off my butt & taking maters into my own hands & getting me a damned good RA on my own! Screw her!!! She will NOT, & DID NOT stop me from getting my RA referral!!!

And, I can't wait to fire her to her face & to tell her why she is being fired!!!

I have been in a much better mood & spirit now! I am eating! And, taking much better care of myself! And, am feeling better because of it! Still have a lot of pain issues! With the CC, my left hand & my left knee & all! But the rest of me is much much better! And, right now, I have a much better outlook & attitude! Mostly of late because I got fed up with the crap! I got mad as hell & then used that anger to do something about it!

And, then I didn't stop there! I made a commitment to myself to eat! To eat right! To go for a hike every day that I am able to do so! To work out everyday! To get back into my yoga! In short! I made a decision to get pro-active about my heath, with all these damned doctors! I'm not letting them tell me that I have shit I don't! And, put me on drugs to kill me! When they don't even know what is causing this or that! And, I'm not letting them tell me that I don't have shit that I do!

I have gotten tough with them & stand up much more for myself, but this time something snapped & I really got a set!!! LOL :)

Well! Sorry for taking sooo very long her guys! But like I said!? Long in coming!!! And, I just had to tell the whole story & make an issue of it!
