There was a member in the Ty group, I can look back through old members to find her. She got diarrhea an cramps after infusion. I believe she stopped. I think that was a god thing to do because people who have antibodies against TY well it is ineffective for them.

How is it not working for you? I had improvement on day 2 of the infusion. Then 15 days later it wasn't so good again. Doc thought it might have been my last med getting out of my system fully.
Its better than it was before TY but not as good as it was 2 days after my first infusion.

My experience with tysabri was not as hopeful as it was presented to me. I didn't notice much change in the first 6 infusions at all and my last 6 infusions did not last me through until the the next appointment. They cannot infuse before 4 weeks so I endded up changing therapy to copaxone. compared to the IM inj's this is a breeze for me and I feel much better now. I have been on copaxone for 2 months now and had a 2 month lapse in meds. I have heard conflicting reports on ty, some good but some pretty not so good. good luck with it. when it works, i hear its great.

Oh, what a timely topic. I will take my 15th infusion today. I have suffered with mild vertigo for the last 3 weeks. I did not notice much difference with Tysabri until perhaps the last 4 months.... YET the improvements could be the result of changes I made. In addition, there was a time when Vertigo would PUT ME DOWN. I had to start on steroids. This milder version allows me to remain somewhat functional. Tysabri? Do not know. I know the Vertigo will not stop me from my appointment today.
