good afternoon everyone. With the mood swings and depression that I get from MS my doctor is now going to have me start taken abilify so hopefully this will help me out and start enjoying life again is anybody else take a Tthis?

I was dxd with bipolar disorder about five years before I got the MS diagnosis, and the first thing they tried me out on was Abilify. Long story short: I would not recommend it. I can't speak as to how effectively it evened out my mood, but the side effects were terrible. I slept like a cat, and very unlike a cat had terrible balance issues--which I am quick to point out were NOT the same balance issues I now have that relate to MS.

But don't despair.

Everyone's body is different, thankfully. Perhaps Abilify will work great for you, with little or no side effects. I certainly hope so, and keep us posted!
