I definately needed to hear this today. Been having a rough couple of days!!!

On my good days I can totally agree with this. I think I still get into denial, it's been only been 4 years simce i was diax'd during an extreme exacerbation. I can't believe I have MS at times, or should I say I don't WANT to believe it. Then, my bad days, with vertigo issues and inablity to focus my eyes, and the weak legs and fatigue give me the slap upside of my head to remind me that MS is real.I have come a long way since my first and last severe attack in 2007. I got my walk back, thank God, and I am much bettter now. Denial still rears it ugly head for me,but then I get reminded. MS is very real.

Hi Ichoppel! It's me SharonMom----Debbie. What a lovely thought your post was! When I go to church on Sundays, the prayer counselors put their hands on me and pray for me to be healed of Multiple Sclerosis, and that always gives me hope, that God can heal me anytime from this disease....
Also my husband promised me months ago, that he is never going to be divorced, that he is going to be a widower. And that made me feel really good. I am grateful to M.S. because it gives me reassurance that, although I am 8 1/2 years younger than my husband, that I will be leaving this earth first. As I could never survive being a widow.
However the new drug, Ampyra, that I am taking is helping me, and I do believe that it is going to give me a few more years on this earth. Time that I am going to use by taking lots of overnight trips with my husband this summer, on his Harley trike. He traded in his Harley FLHTC for it because I need help getting off and on it. Then he installed a rack on the back of it to strap on my wheelchair. And there is something deliciously naughty about checking into a hotel with a man, even when that man is your husband! Take care my friend!
