I was dx in 2007. Since that time I have been on; methotrexate, beteseron, copaxone, aubagio. I have not had success with any of these drugs. I have also tested positive for the JCV antibody. My neurologist has given me a few choices for drugs.
Tysabri, stating the benefits outweigh the risks for short term (1-2 year treatment)
Glydnea, requiring an eye exam and ecg prior to and during first dose of.
Imuran, further ruling out Tysabri
Methotrexate, futher ruling out tysabri with wicked side effects
or wait for BG-12 that may or may not work for me due to my history of severe side effects with GI complications.
Any suggestions...
I have been steadily progressing over that last year, my neurologist asked me yesterday if I had bought a cane yet.
I am allergic to ALL corticosteroids, no tx for exacerbations/relapses

I've been off any DMD since last February and I feel great. Of course, it is me and not you I realize. I'm just not sure any treatment is for you since you have had allergic reaction to them all. What else is left but chemo? have you talked to your doctor about that? Have you through of LDN? Of course your neuro won't recommend LDN, but it might just be somethign that he and you will have to discuss since you can't take anything else.
I hope you are symptom free.
