Oh yes! When I first started having symptoms, I was constipated for almost 1 month. I didn't realize it at the time because of everything else that was going on, but yes. Now, It is an every other day thing with me. On one day it's constipation, the next day I can go all day. . .and I'm not kidding! Have you tried any laxatives? If that doesn't help, you should call your doctor.

Since starting my copaxone a month ago, I have noticed some irregularity. I can't think of anything else that would have caused it.

Shore, I take four laxative tablets a day just to stay regular. This is a common MS symptom. Your doctor will probably recommend an over-the-counter brand.
I find Swiss Kriss, a herbal brand from the health store, to be very effective. Good luck to you.

best thing for this is flax seeds (or linseeds, same thing) - either sprinkled on your cereal or yoghurt or in oil form. It's healthy and it will keep you regular.

MS itself can bring everything to a grinding halt, and then many of the medications we take have the same effect. If an OTC stool softener doesn't help you along, maybe your doc can suggest the best laxative for you. Senekot (sp?) seems to be a good place to start. Don't suffer with something you neednt suffer with.

Senokot-S is one of the few things I cannot live without. Even after having my gallbladder removed, I have constipation issues.

Miralax in my coffee every morning. My gastro gave me a script for it years ago. It is over the counter now.

It has no tarte & doesn't change the texture of mood or drink.
