i just REALLY have to post this. . .ever since they have made Smartphones practically compulsory here where I live, I have had to replace 2 or 3 mobiles in the past year.
'Why?' you ask? Since they're too big to fit anywhere but my back pocket,as I frequently have to book it to make it to the damn toilet (incontinence issue), I occasionally forget the phone is there and, splash!
I begged my oldest son to get/make me a little bag to carry it in for xmas, but of course it was never finished, so I haven't been able to use it and again today! I am so fed up!
Anyone else?

I usually don't use pants pockets, but I've even had my phone fall out of a jacket pocket, it's very annoying I agree. I feel like when phones were smaller, I also used them much less. I'm not a huge fan of basically having a mini-laptop in my pocket because it can lead to time wasting, and if/when something happens to it, it's expensive to replace!

Anne ... I didn't see this post until now. I've never dropped it in the toilet , but I am known to drop it & crack the screen.

Look around for the type holder you clip on your waistband, I found one for $20. Or buy a small purse - maybe a thrift shop will have something cheap. And try to leave the phone behind whenever prudent. The radiation probably isn't goof for you anyway. Yeah, the small flip phone was the nicest little one but text changed everything!

I ended up with a flip phone because I hated the Apple iphone. I keep it in my shirt pocket because it is small. I highly recommend a flip phone for those of us who use a bathroom often.
I had trouble with the Smart phone and it wasn't worth the extra cost. I went back to the flip phone and only pay $20/month on Consumer Cellular.

I keep my phone in my back pocket. I know what you mean about going to the bathroom. I have caught my phone several times before it went splash.
