I think I am going to print the whole PDF of the update and use it for future reference. Then, I hope that enough people see this post because "In the News" doesn't get much action from viewers. Oh well, well see by the comments received to this post.

This has really comprehensive info on current research and other things MS related. Always good to know! I just wish they would also research what has failed and why. I took Avonex for nearly 10 years and went from a cane to a wheelchair. I can not stand or walk at all. Their literature says at 10 yrs 75% experienced very little progression. Is that really true? Not for me. I think that really needs to be explored.

Thanks for the info Lynne. Can a red asterisk or something flag the column saying 'new' or something? Thus attracting more attention maybe - just a thought.

I really think this is worthy of being on the main MS board, but since we have "In the News" I felt like a cheater if I published it on the main board and not here. I have to support the "system".

Good idea Melanie about the red asterick or flag idea, but unfortunately DS doesn't have such a system. The only thing I can do is publish the MSAA website under the main board. I'll give it a couple more days and then spread the word via the main board. I think this is worthy of attention.

I don't see why you can't post something of interest on the regular discussion. It is nice to see the important stuff on "In the News" as well, but it is nice to be reminded of the news. Thanks for the post.

Great information! I took my time and the entire article! Very encouraging! I really felt like nothing new was going on in research! Glad to know I was wrong!
