I don't know what drug you are on but I am on Copaxone and from time to time I give myself a break for a day or 2. Copaxone has a 1/2 life of 72 hours so it stays in your body so not to worry. I have known people to go off their Copaxone for a week while on vacation, taking a drug holiday as they call it and then come back and start again. No worries. The drug company will be all upset but then again you are not using the crap up fast enough thereby maybe putting off a month or so of getting new, cutting into their profit margins! As for the other drugs, I don't know but I am sure someone will answer. Good luck and you know that commercial You deserve a break today, well think of it like that.

There are two things I do to remember when to take my Betaseron:

1. I write on the top of the calendar when I change months "even days" or "odd days."

2. The morning of the day I'm to have an injection, I put the kit on my pillow. Since I take it at bedtime, I can't forget it.

I have a calendar I use. The calendar is on the fridge, so I can't miss it. I not only mark the day, but also the site I use. That's the only way I can keep the rotations going. One would think you would remember where you gave yourself a shot last. It's so automatic after all these years, sometimes I forget. I have a friend who keeps their calendar in the bathroom, that way they see it before bed.

I have forgotten my shots and once I missed 2 weeks (suggested by my Neuro) for another health concern and I am okay. I do get nervous when I miss it but even with the 2 . Iweek break I was okay

i am constantly missing my betaseron and A day or 2 is different than longer. worrying about it is counterproductive and unnecessary. i say relaz and start again as soon as you can. good luck Tom!
