Has anyone else been diagnose with spinal stenosis and later diagnosed with MS? Thay are so similar I wonder sometimes if I really have MS. Plaese respond. Thanks
I had searched on spinal stenosis and had seen that many symptoms are the same as MS symptoms....same symptoms my aging parents have.
It would certainly combine with MS symptoms.
I checked your profile & saw a journal entry from the begining of the year where you wrote that all brain & spine lesions where gone......
I have a question about that. When you say that all brasin & spine lesions were gone, do you mean no new lesions or dop the old ones go away too?
For the doubt you have, I'm a scientist a chemical engineer, I did need to get copies of my past MRI's, understand how an MRI measures, what it measures, and what the measurement means.
First IO applied to SS and had to sign over my medical records & I thought I should know as much about my health as SS. So I found there was a written report for every MRI & I got copies of mine. Then I found out a person could request a CD of their MRI scan which can be viewed on a person's home computer.
Then I got a book about MRI Atlas of MS Lesions.
I got the CD of my MRI scan that diagnosed me 2 years after it was taken So they are easy to get just call for it & they send it for the cost of mailing it. Now I just ask for a CD when MRI done. They give it to me no issues, and free.
I think you have symptoms from spinal stenosis & from MS.
Not all symptoms from brain lesions are explainable by stenosis.
The issues I was having with my stenosis are not the same ones that I have with my MS, but I know that you can have some of the same syptoms with both.
My stenosis was releived with a couple months of cervical traction and medication. He nureosurgeon did say that I would have to have surgery to correct some herniatied discs that I have as well sometime in the future.
