Hi dave. I'm in NJ and I'm not sure how different it all it is. I get state assistance with my part D. I found it through the senior services program in my county. Dept for the aging. Start there. They were very helpful and patient in my state. They even filled out all the forms and made all the phone calls on my behalf. I also call on them for bills that don't make sense etc...

Hey neuro...I live in Jersey too n I'm on temp disability and I tried to apply for Medicaid and assistance with pseg foodstamps etc and they say I make too much! I can't afford my bills anymore and yet these freakin people tell me I make too much..I don't work! I have no assets I only collect disability...uughh

Yes it is medicare it says I'm in stage 3 coverage gap and my year to date on drugs is $3487 and my out of pocket so far is $1427 and that I have to pay $3122 out of pocket to move to stage 4 catastrophic coverage. I'm out of neurontin so I called to see what my cost was and now instead of $9 it is $2.50, and also I just got my rebif Is it possible that my Rebif pushed it over the top and put me in stage 4, the help on my copay is going towards my out of pocket cost seeing as it is not from a govt. program like extra help from medicare or medicaid, maybe this is a godsend as some of my meds are $50 copays so I don't take all my meds, just when I can afford them, The $2.50 copay just has confused me. I know my Rebif is $3000 month

found this in an ms society magazine at the neuro today. Haven't actually looked it up but it's supposed to help with all aspects of medicare as well singling out certain disease etc.
