Umm I too try to set goals for myself, I say affirmation every morning...this can be tough cause some days can hardly move ...
"I am happy and healthy" 3x before get up
another one I do is" every day In every way I'm getting better"
It just helps me to stay up.... when I feel crap mentally everything gets worse
I also try to put my face on (make-up)even if not going out)
My family is my most important so I also try to let them know how much I love them in some way....
I'm not always succsessful in this, because of my eyes can be hard not to go completly mad...lol

Wonderful post!!
Guess what?
Physical Therapy, since I spent three weeks in bed, I realised if I don't move when I still can, I'll won't be able to sooner.
Move, move, move I think and do everyday.
Emotionally; live, love, laugh,,I see every struggle as an achivement, I love everything I can see from the moment I open my eyes, I laugh with everyone in my day, because I cherish every minute I share with someone.
Challenge,,,yes I'm challenged, but It's not who I am, I'm the winner that overcomes them. Or most anyway,,,

I don't have a choice, and have to stay strong. My oldest son has an autoimmune disease similar to mine, and for his sake, I have to get up every morning and continue on with the day to the best of my ability. I am teaching him how to adapt, cope, and move on. Some days I don't do such a good job, but that is what keeps me going. I try to exercise, and overall eat very healthy. Mind over matter can't solve everything but it does do a LOT for a person!
Great post Lynne, thank you!
