lupus too?!?!?

My doc now thinks I may have lupus in addition to everything else. My wbc.is low abut my Ana has come back twice with different numbers so he's reluctant to diagnosis. I have the skin rash and.some of the other symptoms, but every time he runs my blood work something different comes back. He's wanting to monitor my blood work and symptoms for a while before he makes a dx or decides I don't have it.
Question. How many of y'all have ms and have lupus too? What changes did you have.to make.in your treatment plan to care for both? I have a confession to make too. I'm still not on dmds, I'm still olnly treating the symptoms.

I do not have Lupus ... but that is what my 1st GP thought I had. I stopped going to him. His dx rested on the fact that my nose was red that day! all that lead us to was a new GP and now consider that Dr. as a quack. Sorry that I know nothing else about Lupus.

I hope u get answers that truly help.

one thought that popped into my mind is you may have lupus INSTEAD of MS

Lupus , if its in the central nervous system can produce the same kinds of neurological symtoms as MS...

but you can definatly have both as well. I know someone who has both.

I think as far as the meds go...u can find ones that treat both illnesses, MS and Lupus are both autoimmune so they would both have autoimmine meds

I have MS and Sjogren's Syndrome which is also a autoimmune disease

In some ways in hoping its lupus instead of Ms, but I really wish it was neither. If wishes were fishes wed walk on the sea. I'm just tired and frustrated of the whole thing. My new symptoms include light headedness, and slurred speech and I can't get in until the 24. The ER told me it was anxiety and stress. Well dhuh.
