i think this dragon software is the most talkd about....

dragon naturally speaking is most talked about price range from $60 to $135 for me its not hand strength, i'm just a single finger typist, so i'm not quite ready to "train" the software for the sound of my voice....but you might be at that time, if you get it let me know how it works for you

Dragon naturally speaking is great software. You have to speak into the microphone ( after it is installed ) so that the computer knows your voice, inflections and can understand various words.

I know of several people who have used it successfully.

I am getting a consult to speech therapy they are the ones that do the training and teach us how to use it.

I was looking for idea's other then the pc for ideas to do more in my day to day life.
I talked to the members of my team and they told me that they want me to tell them when I am ready to do things other ways they say it is a tricky thing and it is up to the patient to say how much they want to do things other ways some patients will refuse to do things with the aid of things.
Then they said to only change one thing at a time to adjust to them.
I was just trying to think ahead.
I think it is slow but this is a good place and they have been here for 150 yrs

I know they know what they are doing.
I just want to do more.

My Droid cell phone came with speak to type already built-in. I'm going to look in the 'app store' on my Kindle Fire to see what they offer.

What type if 'cuff' do u use for writing? My hands r so shakey that at times even I can't read my handwriting.
