Check out California Board of Medical Examiners. See if they are licensed in another state too. Sometimes people have trouble in one state and move to another to get a "clean" record.
Have never heard of it.
Take care,

I am planning to visit family in Southern California this summer. I would love to get checked just to see if I even have CCSVI.
I think I would be a bit scared about getting a stint which their website say they sometimes do. As far as what i have been reading it seems like most of the complications wth CCSVI has come after getting a stint (stint coming lose and going to the heart, blood clot etc).
They were saying in the article that MS research & treatments have not advanced much, but TO ME, Bloodletting isn't much of an advancement & this is only my feeling on the subject. They just gave it a new name to fancy the process up a bit.
Here is the original article I read & you all can judge for yourself...
The article said that CCSVI is basically selling HOPE, which that part, I do believe in...

P.S...wasn't trying to offend by my reply, just what I gathered from what I read. Just my opinion on the whole deal. :-)
Wouldn't I be going to an Autoimmune doctor if it was an Autoimmune disease? Just curious!
By the way...My neuro. said that there is new research that states that in some Lupus patients there can be Demylination & Neurological symptoms as well. That's kinda why these 2 diseases can overlap in some patients.
That info. from my Neuro. I found quite interesting.
It is interesting how venous abnormalities and blood flow were first suspected in MS in the late 1800s. It was also interesting that sticky blood, or Houghe's Syndrome, can cause lesions in the brain and some symptoms similar to MS. I got tested, hoping for a positive, but it was not.
Given that the current drugs work sometimes, for some people, it's clear that we do not have MS pegged or know exactly how to treat it.
And investigating every possibility might help uncover what and why MS is what it is.
