Had my 2nd brain MRI today, no new lesions found, but I have to go back to get it done with contrast because I was too dehydrated and the tech couldn't get my vein. Next time I will drink lots of water geeshh. (((hugs)))

Drink it the day before. You don't want to be stuck in that ugly tube and then have to pee.

They can also try warm wash clothes to help dilate the veins. Stay hydrated for several days before AND after! your kidneys will have to flush that stuff out and you will want all the help you can get. Make sure you are well moisturized as dry skin tends to be harder to stick.

Some folks get a headache from the dye, but this is temporary and will pass with flushing your system out.
