My left side for sure. Although I have more numbing in my right hand but my left leg is the weakest and that was the side that I had my first walking issues with. I had a little black dot in my left eye too for the longest time but since I started on LDN that has gone away... Now if the LDN would make the walking better I would be in business.. : )

I have more trouble with my left side but more issues with vision on my right. My optic nerve has been almost destroyed on my right eye... but it makes sense, almost all of my lesions have been on the right side of my brain (right brain controls left side).

Wow. The reason I asked is most people I have asked say left side. I find that interesting. And many with left side body issues have worse right eye optic neuritis issues. Interesting.

if you look at how the optic nerve worse, it makes sense for some. I developed ON in both eyes at the same time. The lesion was on my optic chasm and situated mostly towards the right side of the chasm.

I believe people who are right handed develop most of their lesions on the left side of their brains.

Almost all my initial symptoms resloved, but 17 years ago it was the left side. Never had optic neuritis.

First had foot drop on left side. Trigeminal Neuralgia on Left side, but I think it is beginning on right. Numbness in both feet and legs. Weakness on both sides, but worse on left. All my lesions are in both perevintricular(sp?) and the nerves that connect the 2 sides of the brain (callusom or something like that). No new lesions for 5 years, but symptoms have gotten worse.

My worst is my right...biggest pain is trying steps. I can be very slowwwww because I can't step up with my right foot..always have to step up with left foot so I avoid too many stairs or steps if I can help it!
Don't like to hold anyone up behind me or make anyone wait on me either.

My side is right just general weakness in compairision to the left side. NO pain etc.

My left hand and foot have the most numbness and tingliness. My right eye gets the pressure and fuzziness. Also warm sensations on the right side. At least I'm semi-semetrical?

My right side is the worst. My left side is weaker but the right side has spasticity issues.

This is a very interesting question. I'm actually curious about which side is everyone's dominant side. For example I'm a lefty and my MS gives me right sided issues. Is everyone else who's posted and said they have "lefty" MS problems dominant on the right?

My entire left side is weak and has other problems, but has "progressed" some to my right side. I am right handed and have lost a lot of ability to do handwriting now. Fatigue is worst symptom right now, followed by weakness. Haven't been in as much pain since I took myself off of sugar and grains.....really made a difference in my feet, cause they both felt like they were on fire sometimes.

Never thought of this. Right eye had optic neuritis. Both sides of body have experienced numbness in the past but definitely worse on Right side. Currently have numbness from the wais down, but only on the right side. Had numb tongue, right side, and weak throat muscles, on the right side. Luckily, the hand tingling settled in my left hand, as I am right handed.

I had it 9 years ago after my daughter was born. It started out in the right eye, It really thought my glasses lens was dirty kept trying to clean it. Then it went to the left eye also but not as bad. I noticed when I put my deodorant on my right underarm I couldn't feel it. Went to my family physician. He said I had dry eye and to use lots if eye drops,and the numbnss was from feeding my daughter..... sure... LOL... Things started get worse I had to give up driving, if I tried to go to the store especially Target, the lights made my eye's worse. Ended up going to a eye dr. He ran lots of test on me. He told me he thought I had MS... Sent me for an MRI, he called me a couple days later said I had three lessions on my brain, and I did endeed have MS... That the medicines are good now not a big deal (Which I don't agree with... :(

brianap, I have the weak throat issues, hoarse voice after talking a lot and sometimes swallowing problems. This like other MS issues just come and go, but I can't tell if it is on one side, just seems like the whole throat.

Anybody else have throat issues. Oh, not only is my left side the worst, as far as MS, but I also had thyroid cancer on the left side. So, I guess that is just my weak side in general.
