I posted this in my journal but it was suggested I say something at large because someone might have something to say. My legs have been giving me trouble on and off for 2 years or so. They got better with physical therapy but are now to the point where I cannot take off my left shoe because my leg is not under my control. I know this is wrong to say but I feel cheated because I'm not yet 27 and I've gone through Hell and back again. Ok, enough belly-aching. Any insight would be much appreciated.

There are many aids to help you...go to abledata and look. What is important to remember is that your legs are not you!!! MS will never take away what is the most important of you--your character, integrity, and soul. Just let those shine more on the days when your legs do not work.

Yeah I lnow how you feel, because I often feel that way too. I'm only 35, still have not had children and am currently about to go through ohysical theraoy for the second time in a year to help with balance and swaying into the walls. I think the worst thing about having MS is the fluctation of the unpredicability. I do agree with LeannaB in saying in the end it doesn't define you. I sometimes need encouragement from others to remind me of that, so I'm just passing it along.Take care
