I am sure others of you out here have this, but, it is driving my nuts right now!!! My left arm has occasionally had the itching sensation, but, now my right lower arm is doing this! From my fingers up the lower part of the wrist and arm.
I know it is an ms thing, but, argh! It is driving me nutty!!

I used to get moments of the itchies alot last year. But, usually after my Tysabri infusions. But, I haven't had any meds now for over a year, and this is just making me crazy! I want to scratch it, but, I know that will only cause scratches, so, I don't. I am just trying hard to not think about it. By typing here, I am keeping my fingers busy from the temptation to scratch!!!

Hi, scratching here too, ice helps a bit, and the icy hot or anything with mint. Keep on busy and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

I am noticing so many posts about itching lately. For years and still I have always had itching in my vulva. I know it sounds ridiculous. My husband used to scream when I would get scratdhing but I could not stop. I did not have crabs or any thing like he accused, but I would scratch until i bled. The only time it stopped was when I was in a full blown attack and my entire groin and pubic area was totally numb. When that finally subsided the itching came right back. I suspect I had this MS long ago but didn't know it. Don't know if this helped any, I just wanted to share. Are you thinking 'we-ell, thanks for sharing that, a little TMI? LOL

try alergy meds at walmart I take two internal itching helps calm down the reaction

hmm...well, the itching seems to have subsided once again. It comes on so suddenly, but, it usually only lasts up to about an hour or so. Again, the area in which I itch is always in my arms. Mostly the lower arms. Sometimes the hands also.
I have taken Benedryl to try to stop the itching, but, it doesn't seem to reflect anything. So, I usually just have to live thru it itchiness. Strange.
But, as I said, it has at least past for now!

hi, I have RRMS and about 3 weeks ago my upper left arm and shoulder started itching like crazy, so bad that I bruised and opened the skin by scratching it. It has now subsided but now i have full relapse symptoms in the left arm, loss of motor control, numbness, pain etc.. It is frustrating to explain to people including the doc, they just don't seem to get it. Just thought i'd let you know that I do first hand know what you are talking about. When mine came on it also came with a runny nose, so i wonder if whatever cold/virus I caught triggered this whole thing?
