Her pain came slowly and slowly got worse until she had to have an operation to cut the nerve because she was in so much pain. She isn't bothered by it anymore so at least there is some relief to be had. But she did have to go to another town to see a specialist. So get relief if it becomes a permanent problem.
It may be something. I will hope for your sake that it goes away.
Best of luck,
Ez
The stabbing you describe is one I get too! In left eye, ear, jaw... it shoots maybe a few times a day--but not every day. The burning can feel a lot better with some ice...
I dont know why the shooting pain one... though shes right the TN one is caused by chewing--a nerve in the jaw that gets affected and sends pain signals like mad..I havent gotten another bout of TN since I watched my chewing..sounds nutty but I dont chew gum much and make sure my food is easy to mash up.... maybe im nuts but it works!
Id say for yours try a soft ice pack! I love mine for the burning/shooting pains. They're caused by inflammation so getting ice on there often helps!
HUGS hang in there!
