I'm sorry guys,
I know I have been away fa a few years, I have had a hard time getting to grips with this MS,,,... I decided I was not gunna let it bother me or listen to anyone that MS did bother with or without it,,,,, I came to terms with it by understanding the Body, Mind and brain are three different zones of a Human body that should in an Ideal world work together,
Being a mechanic by trade had helped me understand not everything is perfect and the smallest fault can interfere with the smooth operation of any eletronically or chemically controled component which is part of a system controled by a brain, organic or electronic,
I decided because with mechanical, electrical or chemical if there is a fault with time and patience we have the intelligence to find and make a repair by either finding the fault and repairing it or preventing it from getting worse, I also understood that stress on any of these components caused failure, which is also true of the human body.
The body can and does repair its self but if the repair is hampered by the chemicals developed by stress the repair is not at its best so will fail again and again, the moral of these thoughts was to keep the mind away from the natural function of the body and try to take what the body does because the mind has told the brain it wants it to do more for granted.
For example until you knew you had MS did you ever think about how you walk or did you learn it from an early age then just do it.
Hard to do now you know about your MS because thye mind over works the brain with many thoughts for one function with a damaged wiring system.
So what I do now is just enjoy what I can do and sped less time thinking how I do or even should do it.
Oh ma head hurts...lol
Just find fun, Fun and enjoy
All the Best

I too was the same as you. Even though I've had MS for 11 years, and slowly got worse and worse I've accepted just this year that I am who I am. I walk with a cane, lost use of my left hand, and have slurred speech. Yes, MS sucks and I still have my moments of getting pissed off but I've seen others that are much worse than I so am grateful I guess?
