I am wondering if any of you can answer this queston: Does taking one of the inter-feron beta drugs (like Avonex) weaken the immune system?
My reason for the question is because after battling a sinus infection around six weeks ago, I have now picked up another infection--streph or bronchitis. The doctor gave me anti-biotics which I am taking.
I guess I am wondering if I will become ill with a flu, cold, etc. more frequently since I receive weekly injections of Avonex?

Do you irrigate your sinus with saline???
Call your Doc and find out there that is the best place to start!
