Not sure what you consider a "normal" life.. but mine seems normal to me! :)
To me it's normal. I still do all the things I love. I'm going to school. I go to the beach. I take care of my gardens. I play with and care for my dog. I go to the gym. I have a great boyfriend and nice apartment. I go out to the bar and have drinks with friends, or go to an occasional dinner party. I still go on vacations. I'm happy with my life regardless of the fact I have MS. I still feel normal to me.
Good luck.
Recently I started the ticket to work program and am going back to school for a better job than I had before, that I will be able to do pretty much for a long time regardless of what the future and my MS hold for me.
If you do have MS, or even you don't, your life will always be changing. You learn to adapt and make life work for you. It's not a cake walk, it isn't for anyone. I've always found that easy things are rarely worth it.
That common saying, "The only thing constant in life is change".. it's true for everyone.
Hang in there. And honestly I think learning about MS is a great thing to do, if you have it or not. Here are some sites that you might find interesting:

Two months later I am back at work, walking, driving and am living a normal life.
I still have numbness in my hands and legs but that might be permanent.
But I have to say that my life is normal and I enjoy and appreciate every moment.
