I'm shaking....

I've not been on 'board' for several weeks--just too doggone busy! Anyway, I wonder if I am progressing (saw Dr. last week and had new MRI this week--no results yet). Does anyone else have difficulty getting up (rising) from a chair or getting out of a car? It is not painful, but my muscles seem so stiff--like I am 90 years old.
Has anyone all of a sudden had a hand that started to tremble and then outright shake?
Or your startle response becomes next to nothing? (I get startled at the least little thing)
Have you ever discovered that your legs wouldn't cooperate when you needed to run? (burning leg pain if you tried to take off from a sitting position because of urgent situation)
Shared all this with doctor...and more...which is likely the reason for the MRI. Tech guy wouldn't tell me if new lesions were there. Darn.
The shaking is not a NEW symptom, but has never happened like it did last night. Actually, shaking is quite rare for me.

i find that if i work to many days in a row, standing and sitting all day, ( i usually work 6-7 hrs 4-5 days a week ) i find that everything for me seems a lot harder than i know it is for me. i hope you are not progressing, maybe if you can take it easy for a week or so (easier said than done, i know) good luck to you. kelly

Eloise, boy, I guess I'm not the only one...to all questions..yes yes yes. My right hand writing started looking sooo bad. I recognized it as my grandmothers and that was a trip. However, it's gotten better at times. Recently it's been shaking alot again. The car thing, big time trouble for me. Lately getting out of my chair. Need a new chair really bad!

Not sure how long this has been going on, but you really can't know if you are progressing until your MRI has been looked at and compared to older ones, and until your sx's are on a slow but stead decline. It can take years to really know, as you don;t go from RR to SP overnight.

These are all sx's of MS, and it could be a flare, a psuedo-flare, etc... I would wait for the results and consult with Neuro..

I agree with luvmekk. when i try to work 40 hrs. a week, i literally make myself sick and all my symtoms are much worse.

Yes when i do anything anymore a little to much- i will shake- try both hands to drink tea and it hits or bounces off my glasses!! I would imagine the nero needs to up your and my meds. for that. sorry hug!! Tickey

Yes to the feeling 90 years old and stiff when I get out of my van. And yes to the trembling that turns into a full-blown shake, followed by burning, tingling and going numb in the hands, after I've done my daughter's hair. It takes about 3 hours to do (we're african-american, and she has thick hair).

they are called tremors and yes have them every so often throughout the day with one occasional day of no shaking.....i rest alot...exercise helps but not sure about which foods may trigger a relapse....good that you told the doctor...good luck with the resuls.
