I still feel guilt at times when I don't have energy to spend more time with them, but its much easier in the fact that they don't depend on me for everything.
One good thing is that your son is learning empathy, compassion, caring, and concern for others. What a wonderful helper!
Im a single mom too, so I understand. I had ALOT of help from my parents though. Stay strong and give that little boy a BIG hug and kiss!
Its a chain in my house, mom do it to me, I do it to my daughter, she does it back.
All I see and feel is love and I just say it. Mommy loves me and mom just say,,,, my baby and kisses me,, I do the same with my daughter and she just goes into baby mode,, lol and cuddle.
When I was healthy and chasing dreams or responsibilities, I didn't have time or opportunities to enjoy this.
At home, someone exercising is an opportunity to be a cheerleader, we are doing something, even if we look funny, stumble or fall.
Thank God your mom was there to take care of kids while you take care of yourself.
When my mother is looking at me like that, all I can think is about her emotional pain, sometimes I just say while in bed, comehere, and spoon with her and just let her cry, when she is done, I make her laugh again. Precious moments.

I had one baby but when she was small, I was pretty ok/ ms wise. Now not so much. I don't know how I would've managed it had I felt like I feel now. God bless you. And your little troopers.
My mother (retired nurse) helps me. She is very strong. I don't like it when I catch her looking like I have a chicken on my head as she watches me struggle. I see it in her eyes.
Vent anytime you need to. We all care and understand.

I know there isn't anything I say that can make you feel better, but I hear you and feel for you. Sending positive thoughts and well wishes.
Thanks again to all of you :)
Sounds like you have great kids.
Take care of yourself & kids.
