Take some time to grieve, then you can move on and live again!
Hugs!
If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back.
look for things to feel lucky for, they are there somewhere.
Attitude is Everything
After a while of talking about things, judging how my body (and mind) was dealing with it, and monitoring how the treatment was affecting the symptoms, it became easier to get my head around it, and to talk about.
It is a real shock to the system, but it will feel easier in time. Hang in there and keep communication open about your feelings and your symptoms.
Good luck!
For me it has been about learning to have MS be PART of my life, not all of it. I've had to make a lot of changes to how I do things and to accept that I can't always do everything I had planned to do in a given day, but I'll push myself to be as useful and independent as possible for as long as possible.
You didn't ask for this and neither did your family, but its here and now you have to learn how to live with it.
There will be days when you feel like you'd be better off dead, but there will also be days when you forget you have MS. It all takes time to come to terms with, so be sure to be patient and understanding with yourself.
What are your symptoms and do all drugs make you sick?
One of the important things to remember is that there are many things that MS seems to take sontrol of, and you have to not let it happen as often as you can.
Like they say, you don't get MS until you get MS. But be sure you don't let MS "get" you.
Good Luck
Try not to dwell on the negatives! Attitude is EVERYTHING! If you are a person of faith, I would definitely recommend that you become more "heavily involved" in it. MANY find great solace in it.
Don't let it change your life any more, OR any faster than absolutely necessary. You can STILL have a fruitful and enjoyable life, as long as you don't let your MS "take charge" of it!
Best of luck!
