I'm a prolific poster these days. Usually a sign that things are on the downward slant.
I've been having a lot of hot flashes. These come on really fast and go away within 5-10 minutes. I sweat. I get irritable. I can't get to somewhere cool/cold fast enough. I'm not obese, I'm only 30 years old. These things are terrible. I said something to my husband about how it was bothering me yesterday and he said, "No. It bothers you every day. It happens every day."
Other things have been coming to the surface again too. Having to skip dinner because I can't swallow. Horrible mood swings. Shooting pains in my ankles, knees and wrists. Muscle twitches everywhere.
So, this morning I decided to at least google MS and hot flashes to see if they were at all related (thinking, crap, maybe I should get my hormones checked!). This was the first article that came up. It's like they came into my home and wrote down everything I was experiencing and put it in an article.

I hope this is all happening more again because I've been a little sick. I've had a sinus infection. I've been on antibiotics. But I can't help but wonder if I'm headed toward another relapse (and perhaps a diagnosis).
Anyone else experience extreme hot flashes as part of your illness?

I'm also not aware of any spasticity that I have. I guess I don't really know what that is or feels like. I have muscle twitches all over my body, from my head to my toes but they are not painful. The twitches feel like a baby kicking (not saying that they're all in my abdomen. I have them everywhere but that's the only way I know how to describe them.) Is that spasticity? It's pretty much a constant. Used to freak me out but now I hardly even notice them anymore.
