Multiple Sclerosis is listed as a possible differential on imaging for capillary angioma. Now I am furious. The last MRI with contrast that showed these was in 2003!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And the first time a doctor suspected MS with me was in 2001. But it was thrown out the window by family doc at that time and never revisited. Then the MRI was done in 2003 with no mention of MS but because of strange neurological sensations.
I can't wrap my brain around the fact that this is more likely to be MS now and could have even been diagnosed 5 years ago. OMG!!!
I was "lucky" enough to get diagnosed on the first visit to my neuro. I keep hearing accounts of it taking a long time to get a diagnosis, even though everything points to MS.
Don't apologize for asking questions! Having MS is scary, and can feel really lonely sometimes. My family loves and supports me, but there are just some things they don't get. Only other MS'ers understand! Arm yourself with as much information as you can. The people on here are really great and supportive!
