Dear all,

Has anybody tried the hirudo therapy. When those hirudo medicinalis are used for regular sucking of the "bad" blood?

I've heard of the use of blood suckers, I just could not figure out why a blood sucker might differentiate. They'll attach to healthy persons as well.
( at first I thought this was a typo for hairdo)
Hirudo are leeches.

It soo appears that whilst doing their blood sucking business lol ;) they seem to release some chemicals into the bloodstream ... I know that it's been used by many people to treat various health conditions... And yesterday I was talking to a friend of mine who seem to b so sure that it's one of those treatments that surely helps with anything of autoimmune nature. I personally can't figure out how hence my asking ;0)

I've also heard of bee sting therapies. The bees die, which is a threat to their dwindling numbers. I don't think I'm tough enough to get stung over and over for many days. I'm not really tough enough to get stung once, kind of a wimp that way.
