Many of you have sent messages and hugs asking the same thing, so I thought I'd post one update. I hope this doesn't seem to impersonal, just thought it was easier than sitting here and typing the same message over and over. ;)
So anyway, MS Clinic at OSU called me the day before my appt and said the doctor refused to see me until I saw general neuro at OSU, despite the fact I have seen local neuro and been put through all the testing. My local neuro, family doc, and the internal medicine doc I was referred now agree that we are most likely dealing with MS as a second lyme titre was negative.
So the general neuro at OSU calls and guess what? It's going to be 4-6 weeks for an appt. I was furious and in my anger may have burned a bridge or two as I went off on them. :( Oops. Emotions have been running high lately.
So here's the updates. I've had 3 or 4 fairly good days. WOOO HOOOO. Maybe I'm going back into the remitting part??? (fingers crossed).
As for the risk of ovarian cancer. IT'S NOT!!! Had follow up ultrasound today and the 5 cm thing is GONE. She said it must have been a complex hemorrhagic cyst as it definately was not a simple cyst. She theorized that it ruptured suddenly and leaked blood into the peritoneum and that was most likely what sent me to the hospital last week with the pain under my ribs that started on the left side (same as ovary that was in question.)
Who knows how much longer it is going to take to get a solid dx, but I don't have ovarian cancer and I'm feeling much better except for occasional palpitations (possibly due to my hiatal hernia) and the fatigue is still here, but not as debilitating. I can't thank you all enough for just listening when I needed to vent and feel sorry for myself. LOL.

I had an ovarian cyst and it popped a few years back. Glad it's gone and glad yours has disappeared too!
