I have not experience what you do but I do notice that my right hand especially, gets tight and "dull" when holding a paper cup of coffee, the left hand maybe a little tight but not so much.

I know what ya mean, ya have to play with it, tweak it until ya figure it out, will ya still be my friend? lol

Oh MrCoffee, as long as your first name is not Maxwell or Folger, I think we gotta deal, lol.

I don't drink coffee but I love my hot herbal teas and other teas...and yes it raises my body temp...so I try to limit hot teas to when I am suffering from being cold....or I do warm and not hot instead....I let it cool down to a warm temp...so I don't raise my temp...yes your right it does defeat the purpose...you could always try ice coffee...or adding some ice to it to cool it down so it is not so hot.....just try tweaking the temp before you drink that might help...it does me with my tea ;)

I have to have my Folgers! Coffee is one my favorite drinks. I get tired during the day even if I havn't drank any.

Morgaine, I don't know why something as simple as adding a couple of ice cubes to my coffee never occurred to me, I guess that's just the nature of the MS beast.

Well I added the ice cubes this morning, let my cup cool down a little, and so far so good. I guess this is what DS is all about, helping others think of things that they wouldn't think of themselves.

I see at the grocery store Starbucks in bottles. I can not imagine cold coffee but it must be a good seller.

I read lots of recipes & found one for iced coffee. You put fresh made coffee in an ice cube tray & freeze.

Like I have said before, first cup of coffee is supposed to be red hot. Then it can be warm.

I never drink coffee b/c it always leaves me with a very fatigued/worn out feeling...as if I've been drugged! I drink iced tea instead. I know it doesn't warm you up on a cold day though. For those day, I drink some hot cocoa! Both tea & cocoa also have caffeine, but don't seem to "drag me down". Of course, I drink the hot cocoa very seldom, so I really can't remember if I noticed anything remarkably unusual. However, with ice tea....I'm addicted!!! It keeps me going throughout the day. I also drink it all day long, along with water, b/c of dry mouth! Just my 2 cents worth!! ;)

I can't wait to get to work in the morning to get that fresh cup of coffee--really the only place I drink it. It does help with fatigue but also raises my body temperature. I wear layers so that I can cool off. Speaking of coffee, tomorrow as a work day is suddenly more inviting.
