Need your intput, new symptom. last week I noticed my hand started feel stiff. Then I started having pain to the point I couldn't put any weight on it. Next I noticed swelling on the back of my hand & my fingers started hurting. The finger pain seemed to jump from finger to finger.

Then I was carrying something & I couldn't open my hand. Now anytime I clench my hand My fingers freeze, no pain just won't open unless a pull them open. Anyone else have this problem, any input would be great.

I kind of have the same problems with fingers but not as severe and mine comes from rheumatoid arthritis. It has effected my fingers and elbows. RA is also an auto immune disease so many MS patients may be effected by it.

hey I would go and see a rhumatoigist, I have psoratic arthritus aswell, hand are often painful, I take a good anti inflamitry when really bad and a big dose of magnesium

I've been having something like this happen, my fingers have been curling inwards and I have to lay my hand on something flat and push it flat, it is very painfull. I've read other people have this happen and they called it claw hand, it has been happening after I was using working on something I normally don't. I take Baclofen and it eases it up to where I can open my hand back up. Hope you get some relief soon.

Thanks for the input guys, it's improving some. I will call my dr & find out about upping my baclofen.
