goofy time for a nap...

I went in for an MRI today. Don't quite know how, but I managed to fall asleep during the jackhammer noiss! Well, at least I got a little nap!

I always nap during my MRI's! For whatever reason, the noises don't bother me, and I just snooze the time away :o)

I have been close to sleeping during my MRIs but the tech always seems to know when that is happening & they decide that is the time to start the IV for contrast..... My next MRI next week so I will try once again for the nap!

I welcome it when I can fall asleep. I'm not real fond of being in the tube! The place I go gives me a headset and turns on my favorite music for me so that helps too.

I always doze off. Seems like just when I fall asleep, they wake me up to move me around...
I can fall asleep anywhere! When I was a teenager I slept through a rock concert! (and I was not even under the influence!)

Wow, I'm IMPRESSED with you all who can sleep!!!! I could never even DREAM of sleeping during an MRI!!! I can rest until it starts shaking and the jackhammer sounds!!!! But sleep....that doesn't come easy to me at all!

I am never really calm or relaxed when I have an MRI, I guess that is one of the reasons I only go once a year for one instead of every 6 months as I am suppose to do.
