Does anyone take glutathione supplements? My moms friend who has colitis, started taking two MaxGXL supplements a day and says it has given her her energy back. So my mom went and bought be a box (which costs about $60 for a months supply... eesh). I was just wondering if anyone else her takes this supplement and has noticed an increase in energy? It sounds too good to be true and there isn't too much written about it online, and what is written generally written by a reliable source.

I really want this to work, I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with it?

I just started taking it a week ago, 2 x 50 mg a day. Thought it would increase my energy. Does nothing so far except make me sleepy in the afternoon.

do you take straight glutathione? or are you using a formulation with NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine)? If you read a few posts above Sentient explains why just glutathione won't do anything but NAC is broken down to glutathione in your body and then absorbed.

I'm really sorry I wasn't very clear with my first post but I didn't know much about the supplement at the time.
