Do any of you find that getting a cold just makes your symptoms so much worse than usual

Yes. Anything I come down with always makes the symptoms more prevalent. Thankfully, aspirin or any NSAID helps me out in this area. (so long as I have food in my stomach for a coating first.) Sorry if you have a cold and are feeling it. I also stock up on Vitamin C, Emergen-C, Airborn. If it's beginnings of a flu, I try to keep "Oscillococcinum" on hand - usually get it at the drug store.

Hey Faith I'm just finishing up day 5 of a horrible cold. I've been drinking a lot of water trying to get as much rest as I can and taking over the counter cold medicine. I'm fine Now. It took me 5 days to get over this cold and you're right it makes getting around even harder cuz it weakens your immune system which means your body is even weaker which makes it harder to walk. I'd rather have a cold now when there's not snow on the ground. That makes it even harder to get around. Take care

She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. I also worked up a sweat at the gym...
