Fun in the sun, I'll pay for this one.

Went to Fla. for the 4th with my family. Having too good of a time. Forgot about the suns effects. Woke up the next morning with bubbles all over my back and shoulders. So, that's what heat can do to us and that's why they make sun screan. You just have to be smart enough to put it on. What was I thinking? Probably dounuts! Have to go to the nero tomorrow. May need a steroid treatment. What a dumb ass move that was.

Anyway, enjoy the summer. But, think about what your doing. Was having too much fun and forgot my new limitations. Now I know. Too much sun gets numb body parts, back pain and head akes. Hope none of you get this. So, remember in the sun think sun screan not dounuts.

Tom I had to laugh when I read this.........not because of your sunburn pain, but because I relate! I did this yesterday but I don't think I will get blisters. Not sure yet but when I looked in the mirror after spending so much time in the sun yesterday my thoughts were, that if I had stayed out any longer i'd have to go to the hospital.
I applied some lotion called "after burn", so I hope it will help.

It's easy to forget about the suns power and what it can do. I guess I was thinking ice cream!!!

Ya, I blew it this time. The heat caused some weir effects I didn't expect. I went to the nero on Thursday. They rushed a pre-qual through my Ins. I have 3 MRI's for this week. Tuesday and Friday. I got a weird numbness and tingling from the waist to my toes. My feet feel like threr asleep all the time. Knees feel tight, thieghs stiff. Feels like I'm walking with braces on my legs. That all I can live with.
The tingling in my mid section is driving my nuts and their tingling too. My wife got a good laugh out of that one. It feels like I'm getting these little electric shocks. We had a good laugh. After a few days it got old. I told my wife, I knew you where here. After 15 years of marrage, I still get that tingling feeling when you walk in the room.
Any way, I hope It's just a pinched nerve in my back.

Have to giggle a bit about this one..... I still get the tingles in places too.....!!!!
I am one who has the typical problems with the heat but not the sun. Being of American Indian heritage, I still like to get the deep dark tan of summer and seldom burn..... I find that the ladies like it which only adds to the tingles in the above mentioned places.
