Just a couple of points of information re forwarded messages.
1. It is virtually impossible for anyone to determine that a message has gone around the world a certain number of times.
2. Promises of good fortune, good luck, dreams coming true, etc. if the message is sent to X number of people are empty promises. If something good does happen, it is likely coincidental.
3. Is sending on a message that says the recipient will have bad luck if he/she doesn't send the message on to X number of people really the type of message that one should send to a friend?
I love the forwards that are funny or cute. I don't like the ones that need to be sent to X number of people, need to be forwarded on within a certain period of time, or tell me that I will have bad luck and/or misfortune if I don't send it on. My solution to these emails is simple and one I hope many people will adopt--hit the delete key!

Yesterdays was MADD petition and Iwas cold hearted and selfish if I did nothing so....I responded that it wasn't valid because names couldn't be authenticated and names would end up on duplicate petitions as the list gets split among forwrders. Can sign same pettion twice so now all allinvalid. Then I went on to discredit the rest of the emails and ending with if God needed email to communicare then history never would have happened...I'm probably kicked out of few address books....oh well
i am fully behind you on this one... time is short..energy is short... i would rather spend my engery on answering a friend in need or catching up on someones journal or the main board...than reading a forward email...or joke etc...
perhaps if we keep this post alive enough people will get the message this time...
