She cannot afford to have the testing done so plans to work on this through diet and supplements. I am hoping to pick up tips and ideas from others that I can share with her
Now, Dear Aimhigh, I am in exactly the same boat and have a post called "am i nuts" lol. I know how frustrated you feel and just had my first exam. My Dr had a great idea and that is too log every zap, zing, aches, pains, vision problems, and etc down. I also write what I ate, my blood sugars (i'm diabetic)any flares ( I have hidradenitits suppurativa stage 2/3), when I am fatigued, feel on fire, etc. I'm due to see him next week and go over my log. He is focusing on my liver problems first and foremost but the possible MS is right behind it. I know I sound like a huge hot mess and I am :)!!! I am NOT though going to let all these problems go undiagnosed. It took me awhile to stand my ground because I felt like I was a hypochondriac!!!!!! With failing everything it seems that was the kick in the butt I needed. No insurance here and I hope u do but if not there are ways.
Just know you're not alone and if you ever wanna chat please message me. I don't know too much yet but I can listen-Take care!
To GeorgiaW Please have your daughter find a free clinic. MS can be very debilitating, but I do agree she needs to get healthy. I have heard that getting aspartame out of the diet is very important so tell her no diet sodas! (no sweet and low or equal)
To Jam :) I am pushing through. Right now the headaches are so horrible that it supercedes everything else right now. Thank you so much for your help. I am sorry to hear about your problems with HS and liver issues. I hope the doctors can work it all out.
on a side note, your liver issues is it related to NASH?
Blessings, Aim
Last night was terrible for me. I was "zapped" so many times and it was so bad that I almost jumped out of bed twice and my whole mid section has been painful for weeks straight. I also got tingling in my arms and now my back. My finger has been so stiff and I can't bend it much or lift with it.
But, as much as I am in pain and frustrated, I'm sure things can always be worse.
I am very curious to what your symptoms are if you don't mind me asking??? Take care and hope to hear from you soon.
