You can't feel badly about putting your husband through this, and please don't consider yourself a lump of lard. You are being way too hard on yourself. This is all out of your control. You are doing the best that you can with the cards you have been dealt. That's all we can do, is our best. I pray that you do get in for the surgery sooner as well. Hang in there!! ((((HUGS))))

Today we both went to the Dr for scripts etc & now I need to have a lump removed from I wrist area to check its ok, not worried about that as it has been there ages & last Dr kept saying "nothing to worry about, just a kariotoses (skin formation), this Dr wants to remove it & have it tested. He also asked what the sore on my nose is & I have had it for a couple of months & he wants to check that & if needed cut that out too -ouch!
That freaks me out more as Dad's cancer that kept coming back was on the nose, then ears & bald head (at least haven't got that )LOL. He wants it done quickly - this week, so have booked in for Monday Morning to have hand one removed & nose checked. They do a skin check there with a wand type thing that tells them if it is a freckle or something to follow up.
What next, foot, hand & nose - all different totally parts of body.
Naturally excema has flared up on stomach & fingers & feet. which I knew it would.
Will keep you all updated on how I go & when I get results too. I am thinking positive that they are nothing as I have enough on my plate already & I am sure God couldn't be that cruel. I hope.
In sickness and in health,,,,,everyone says yes, few understand the meaning. Just love ,,,

Pain clinic, multi disciplinary Dr & nurse, neurologist, rheumatologist, physiotherapist, chiropodist, foot & ankle specialist, eye specialist for Botox, social worker & normal gp.
How many more are out there to add to it?? LOL
As for foot, have had several falls/stumbles into walls etc recently even with boot on so it is getting more painful to say least.
So the saga continues.
I got a referral to a plastic surgeon to check my nose -it has a sore on it that was bleeding, scabs, then bled again & when GP ran wand thing over it, it showed something under it. He thinks it is a Basal cell carcinoma (whatever that is) so got an appt on August 27, Dr is on holidays all of July. It is a form of non-melanoma cancer if I remember right.
I have had a bit of a look on line & generally these one's are not bad so that's a relief. Not looking any more as you can scare yourself with too much information often.
Just one more thing to add to my plate that I could do without for sure but I suspected something was wrong when it wasn't healing. Can't do anything till I see the Dr & that is not as worrying as my dam foot. Think I may have my priorities screwed somewhere there.
