After 14 yrs. of MS, I've been having severe foot pain lately, from the time I get up until I go to bed. I have great New Balance tennis shoes so I think I've got that covered. Ugh...

Yes, I walk 3-5 miles a day because I can, and honestly, I don't think I could quit. At least, by nighttime, my feet are pretty numb, but the dull ache remains.

Any ideas? Oh, yeah, I don't like pills or shots. After all these years, I find they just bring on other issues. xoxoxo Cj (Cindyjo)

I guess it depends on whether or not your pain is nerve pain or repetitive action pain. Have you tried those gel insoles?

i agree with you about the shots and pills.have you tried a podiatrist,orthotics to put in the new balance really helped me or "proper fit shoes" store also helped me, they cost 1-2 hundred but it is so worth it when your feet hurt eventually everything will hurt hope this helps

just wanted to add also aloe cream will cease pain immediately,i use "stop pain"cream all natural ingredients its my miracle pain relief with no side effects

PS: Thanks for suggestions, especially the cheaper ones. My winter budget is dismal at best... LOL

I saw a foot dr. last month for similiar issues. I wear supportive footware and my feet still throb. I was told that I have flat feet and was fitted for orthopedics. This makes me feel so old but it helps.

My feet have been aching too and I haven't been doing much walking, for excercise, here lately. I've got some new Nike running/walking shoes too. The only way I've been able to keep my feet from waking me up in the middle of the night is to put a folded (lengthwise) blanket at the foot of my bed, to keep my feet extra warm. And that extra weight from the blanket seems to help too. I wish I could walk about five miles everyday. Lucky you!
