If you do many times they will give you steroids to reduce inflammation. Reducing the sugar you are eating, eating more fruits and veggies with supplements such as vitamin D3, fish oil, turmeric, Alpha Lipoic Acid (R-ALA), B vitamins, etc will also help reduce inflammation.

BTW If you are not pregnant, do not have PPMS, but DO have diagnosis of Acute Optic Neuritis (AON) you are eligible to participate in the phase 2 trail for REmyelinating antibody below. Phase 1 of safety is already done.

Thank you for your advise, I went to the Ophthalmologist about a month ago and she was happy with the pressure in my eyes, I am situated in South Africa, so I will check up whether the trial is available here.

Many times if you have inflammation of this nerve they give you steroids to reduce the inflammation.
