So sorry about the ALS dx from what I have read and learned the Glutamate receptors do not work correctly. Then the excitatory amino acid glutamate builds up in the brain. Glutamate increases and excites neurons until they die.
Not eating glutamate ie MSGs would be a good idea.
Glutamic acid decarboxylase (GAD) is what is needed to break Glutamate into GABA inhibitor. If you can find ways to increase this in the brain this also might help.
