Yes, it happens to both of us, my daughter didn't have a problem before, now she does.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhh
your not alone I promise
I am 47 and haven't had a cycle for 5yrs.now but I beleive that the consant bc pill would be a big help, like the other ladies say. Also potassium might help with cramps. I feel for you, suffered 4 yrs of never ending cycles, I would have maybe a week off. Thank you Jesus that is over.
You may be experiencing estrogen dominance(low progesterone), low DHEA, etc. Sometimes women crave chocolate around this time of month because you need magnesium and other nutrients to make these hormones. Low amounts of raw ingredients makes you low in final hormone product. I have been on bio-identical hormones (progesterone) and here to tell you it got rid of my monthly headaches, made my period regular, etc with NO neg side effects that the synthetics had on me (had to have them to keep my pregnancies) .
Again you have MS so there are lots of possibilities it is just if your problems are cyclical then you should at least find out if your sex hormones and nutrients you need to make them are at a healthy level.
Good luck getting to a doc that will test, dx and treat you,
EP
I don't mean to gross anyone out, just wanted to throw it out in case anyone else has experienced rge same, to know you are not the only one!
I also am looking forward to menopause (although at 41, I probably still have a bit of a wait!)
One to two days before I start I start to get extra weak in my legs and it will last until my cycle is finished. My spasticity gets more intense and I feel like I've been run over by a truck. It's like having a mini flare every month.
My Gynecologist says I'm too young for menopause but too old for birth control pills and has suggested that I have an Ablation procedure done, but I haven't decided yet.
It's nice to know I am not alone in this.
