I stepped out the back door the other day & the deck was wet! Feet went flying right out from under me! Busted my butt good! Well, I injured my thumb--entire thing! It was hurting really bad & it swelled up, esp the 2 joints! I had pain shooting down that bone into my hand, & my thumb had a slight deformity to it! Most likely from swelling I guess!?
Couldn't use it to do shit! And, today it killed me all damned day! I had a lot of spasing & weakness in that hand, thumb & lower arm! Even on up!
So, anyway I wound up going to the ER the other day, & they did some x-rays! Thumb was not broken or dislocated! But, was just sprained real bad they said, & had a lot of swelling in it!
But the real kicker! They said that the x-ray showed that I had denerative arthritis in my hand, & they think that I may have Psoriatic Arthritis! And, when I had my cervical MRI done I had it in my neck too!
And, that is also an AUTO-IMMUNE DISEASE!!! I told my damned neuro that whatever I have, it acts just like a freaking auto-immune disease! Whatever it is has been acting just like one for a long freaking time!!! But even if I do have this, it still don't explain all the MS symptoms! Like flashing lights, blurred vision, etc......
And, it makes perfect sense that if you have one that you might have others!? Because it is still caused by an attack of the immune system gone heywire!!!
And, there is a lot of good research & even cures going on this area! Check out sciencedaily.com Major good stuff there about new test! Viagra for instance, reduces MS symptoms by 50% & even cures some! And, they also found that if you neutralize cytokine GM CSF then you can cure MS! And, they are doing it!
GOOD STUFF THERE FOLKS! YOU GUYS NEED TO SPEND A LOT OF TIME THERE!!! IT WILL GIVE YOU A LOT OF HOPE & A LOT OR PROMISE! SOMETHING TO HANG ONTO!!!! :)
Anyway, I will be trying to get into an RA specialists now! To see what kind of degerative arthritis this is! And if it is in fact Psoiatic arth...
As I do have have psoriasis, that is a definately possiblity!!! I am NOT HAPPY about this news!!!! Because it is crippling & very disabling just like RA! And, it is in my cervical spine too! NOT GOOD!!!

IN THIS HORRILE 100 DEGREE AUGUST HEAT HERE!!!
I BOUT DIED TODAY!!!! I HAD TO USE MY VAN ONE LAST TIME TO RUN OUT & PAY MY OTHER BILLS, & GET A FEW THINGS I NEEDED! I GOT EVERYTHING PRETTY MUCH DONE!
I HAVE THAT NEW BIKE, SO TODAY I HAD A RACK PUT ON THE BACK & A BASKET MOUNTED TO THE FRONT! SO I CAN GO ON THE 10 DOWN THE HWY TO GET GROCERIES! I CAN'T GET BUT A FEW AT A TIME--WHICH IS A HUGE PAIN! AND, I WILL HAVE TO GO CLOSE TO DARK & PRETTY MUCH BIKE BACK AT DARK JUST TO AVOID THE HEAT SOME! MY FRIEND IS GOING TO GIVE ME A BIKE HELMET!
I did not sleep last night at all!!! Even though I was totally exhausted!!! I don't know why!? I just couldn't make my body go to sleep!? And, I was sooo tired today! And, trying to run the entire freaking day in a 100 degree heat with not being able to run my AC, just about killed me!
And, I still have this infection! And, my throat still feels like I can't swallow!? I am having major problems with it!
I am sooo freaking exhausted!!!! And, I am so discouraged & down tonight!!!
I pulled a bunch of muscles real bad in my right upper leg, on the top & on the inside! So that & my hand/arm have freaking killed me all day! And, tonight as well! Just in a lot of pain............ And, still sick! Need to try to get some different AB's tomorrow before I lose the van!? But, I need gas to get there! I just don't know what to do!? And, if I have another fall or get sick I have no way to get to the doc or the ER w/o a stupid ambulance! And, I wont call them unless my life depends on it! And, if I got there I'd have no damned way back! And, my dogs can't be stuck here in crates with no way to get out!
And, we are having bad storms here this week! And, trees all around the house! They cannot stay outside either! They have to have both! Sometimes I just get soooo damned tired that I just want to go to sleep forever & not come back to all of this shit...........
It's always one freaking thing after another & I just get sick & tired of dealing with all of it!!! And, frankly!? I just don't have the energy any more.............
Anway............. I'm shot!!!!!!!!!!! I'm exhausted, frustrated & sleep deprived & in pain!!! So, I'm going to try to sleep for a while now.......

I feel your pain and I hope things get better, or at least. Little more manageable.
So many people are having problems these days with the economy......it doesn't help to be sick and having the stress of making ends meet too. Some days it is just too much to handle.
Venting is good and there are people that sure can understand your situation.

I know that I am supposed to use my cane, even in my own home. It is important to keep it near to help me avoid the falls!

Went to my regular doctor the other day about my depression. She increased my Wellbutrin by another 100mg and Prozac. So, I now take 20mg of Prozac in the morning and 200mg of Wellbutrin twice a day. It has made a HUGE difference in my mood and how I see life in general!! I can think better, faster, have a little more energy and can read novels again!! So, perhaps you need to talk to your regular doctor about an antidepressant, if you are not on one, or change or increase yours. I am can handle life so much better now and it has only been about 3 weeks!!

MY FATHER--HE HAD BEEN IN A REAL BAD WRECK & WAS GETTING ALZHEIMERS AT THE TIME, HAD TO STAY AT MY MH & BE TAKEN CARE OF FOR A LITTLE WHILE! I TURNED ONE IN INTO A LITTLE APPT FOR HIM! WELL, WHILE I WAS GONE ONE DAY HE MESSED WITH MY CEILING FAN! TOOK IT APART & DID "SOMETHING?"TO IT!?
WELL, WHEN I CAME IN THE DOOR FROM BEING OUT I WOULD OFTEN COME THROUGH THE FRONT & FLY THROUGH MY LV, THEN KITCHEN, DN THE HALL & INTO THE BR WHERE I WOULD CHANGE CLOTHES! AND, AS I WOULD DO SO I'D GRAB THE CEILING FAN CHAIN IN THE LV & YANG IT ON!
SO, WHEN I DID THAT THE WHOLE LIGHT FIXTURE PART OF IT CAME CRASHING DOWN & BASHED ME IN THE HEAD!!!
I WAS KNOCKED TO THE FLOOR & PRACTICALLY UNCONCIOUS??? AND, I HAD A TERRIBLE HA!!! WELL THE NEXT MORNING I WOKE UP & MY EYES WERE SWOLLEN & SITTING OUT OF THE SOCKETS & LOOKED LIKE YOU HAD POURED A BUCKET OF BLOOD ALL OVER THEM!!! I LOOKED LIKE I HAD SOME HORRIBLE HALLOWEEN MASK OR SOMETHNG!? FREAKED MYSELF RIGHT OUT WHEN I LOOKED IN THE MIRROR!
COULD BARELY SEE A DAMNED THING & I KNEW SOMETHING WAS WRONG! SO I LOOKED IN THE MIRROR & LET OUT ONE OF THOSE BLOOD CURTLING SCREAMS ON FRIDAY THE 13TH--UPON SEEING MYSELF IN THE MIRROR AT CLOSE UP! SEEING YOUR OWN EYES LOOKING LIKE THAT & OUT OF THE SOCKETS A BIT AT CLOSE RANGE LOOKING LIKE THEY'VE BEEN DIPPED IN BLOOD CAN DO THAT TO A PERSON!!! LOL :)
SO OFF TO THE EYE DOC FIRST! I FIGURED I HAD A HI FROM ALL THAT!? BUT THE FIRST DAMNED THING I WANTED WAS MY EYES FIXED & BACK WHERE THEY BELONGED & TO "LOOK" NORMAL AGAIN! DOC WAS BLOWN AWAY! SAID IF I GOT HIT IN THE HEAD HARD ENOUGH TO KNOCK MY EYES OUT LIKE THAT & TO THAT TO THEM THEN I GOT HIT PRETTY DAMNED HARD & I NEED A TEST DONE OF MY BRAIN/HEAD!
SO WHEN I FINISHED WITH HIM I WAS OFF TO THE ER!!!
HOW EXCITING IS THAT!? WHAT EXCITING LIVES WE LIVE!!!!!
THEN THERE WAS THE TIME THAT MY PACK OF DOGS WERE RUNNING OUT THE DOOR & JUMPING OFF THE PORCH TO RUN OUT IN THE FIELD FOR THEIR USUAL EXERCISE! I MADE THE MISTAKE OF GETTING IN FRONT OF THEM & THEY HIT ME & KNOCKED ME FLYING OFF THE PORCH LIKE A BIRD FLYING RIGHT OUT INTO THE YARD ON MY FREAKING HEAD!
MY FATHER WAS INSIDE LOOKING OUT THE WINDOW! SAW IT & CAME OUT TO SEE IF I WAS STILL ALIVE! HE HAD ALZHEIMERS & DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO DO! I WAS LAYING THERE WITH MY BRAINS BASHED OUT ON THE GROUND, BOTH ARMS HURT & MY RIGHT HIP & LEG!
WHEN I WOULD TRY TO GET UP I'D JUST START TO PUKE & START TO PASS OUT! SO I HAD TO CRAW TO THE STAIRS, THEN LAY THERE WITH HIM TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO!? AND, MY DOGS WERE ALL OUT NOW, SO I HAD TO CRAWL TO THE GATE & KEEP THEM FROM GETTING OUT! THEN TRY TO GET GROUNDED..... THEN CRAWL INTO THE HOUSE WHERE I FURTHER HAD TO CRAWL TO THE TOILET TO HURL OR PASS OUT ONE!? WASN'T SURE WHICH WAS COMING FIRST!
THEN HAD TO GO BACK OUT GET THE DOGS BACK IN THE HOUSE, & PUT THEM ALL UP! THEN LOAD ME & MY FATHER INTO THE VAN & THEN DRIVE MYSELF TO THE ER WTIH TWO BAD ARMS/HANDS, AND A BAD LEG--MAYBE TWO, & MY HEAD POUNDING & ME ABOUT TO HURL EVERYWHERE!!!
WHEN I GOT TO THE ER, THERE WAS NOTHING GOOD TO WALK IN WITH!!!! I WAS HAVING TO PRACTICALLY CRAWL IN SOME SORT OF WEIRD FASHION!? I COULDN'T USE EITHER ARM, & WAS PRACTIALLY DRAGGING & COULD BARELY WALK ON MY LEG!
I LEFT THERE WITH BOTH ARMS IN A SPLINTS & SLANGS & WOULD HAVE LEFT ON CRUTCHES BUT WITH MY ARMS THAT KIND OF RULED OUT CRUTCHES!!! THEY DID PUT A SPLINT ON ONE LEG THOUGH! AND, IT MADE ME BOUT BREAK MY NECK IN THE PARKING LOT SO I WAS DONE WITH THAT STUPID THING! THEN I COULDN'T GET IN THE DAMNED CAR WITH IT EITHER!!!
I WAS A SIGHT!!!!! LOL LOL LOL :) IF I WERENT SO DAMNED HARD HEADED I HAVE NO HEAD OR BRAINS LEFT AT ALL!!! I'VE TAKEN SOOO MANY BLOWS TO THE HEAD IN MY LIFE IT'S A WONDER I'M STILL SPEAKING, STILL SEEING, OR STILL THINKING OR TALKING AT ALL! MUCH LESS MAKING A'S IN COLLEGE!?

THEN, STOPPED AT THE LOAN PLACE TO SEE IF I COULD WORK SOMETHING OUT! AND, SHE SAID THAT IF I COULD COME UP WITH 50 DOLLARS SHE COULD WORK WITH ME & HOLD THINGS OFF TIL I GOT MY STUDENT LOAN IN THE MIDDLE OF SEPT!!! SO THATS GREAT NEWS!!! AND, ALL I GOT TO DO NOW IS TO COME UP WITH 50 DOLLARS!
I GOT THAT NEW BIKE! I COULD BORROW AGAINST IT & GET 60!? THAT WOULD MAKE MY PAYMENT & GIVE ME 60 BUCKS, BUT I WAS HOLDING OFF CAUSE I GOT SOMETHING FOR SALE AT A CONSIGNMENT PLACE!? AND, I WAS GOING TO CHECK WITH THEM TOMORROW TO SEE IF IT HAS SOLD!? I PRAY IT DOES!
AND, IN THE MEAN TIME I DECIDED TO STOP AT THE AUTO STORE ON THE WAY HOME & SEE HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST FOR THE PARTS FOR A TUNE-UP KIT FOR THE VAN!? AND, ALL THAT VAN HAS TO HAVE FOR A TUNE-UP IS PLUGS & WIRES! AND, THEY ARE ONLY 62 BUCKS! SO I'M GOING TO GET THEM & DO IT MYSELF!
THAT OTHER GUY STARTED OUT AT A 100 BUCKS & THEN SAID THAT HE'D TRADE MY MOWER FOR THE 100! AND, THEN HE CALLED ME BACK & WANTED A FREAKING 250! SAID IF I DIDN'T HAVE IT HE'D TAKE THE MOWER & THE BIKE! THEN SAID THAT IT WOULD TAKE HIM 3 HRS TO DO THAT & THAT IT WOULD BE 65 AN HOUR FOR THE LABOR & THAT THE LABOR WOULD TAKE 3 FREAKING HRS!
WELL I'VE DONE A TUNE-UP BEFORE & IT DON'T TAKE NO FREAKING 3HRS!!! A SEASONED MECHANIC SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO THAT IN ABOUT 30-45 MINUTES! MAYBE LESS IF HE DOES THEM ALL DAY!? IT SURE DON'T TAKE NO 3 HRS! IT DIDN'T EVEN TAKE ME NO 3 HRS FOR THE ONE I DID! AND, I HADN'T DONE ANY BEFORE WHEN I DID THAT ONE!

YOU POP OFF THE WIRES, TAKE OUT THE PLUGS, TAKE THE NEW ONES, SET YOUR GAPS, THEN PUT THEM IN, & THEN PLUG YOUR WIRES BACK UP TO THEM! SHERIZ: NO! I don't use any assitive devises YET!!!??? But, the way I'm going I am terribly afraid that that day may come soon! I'm looking at rocking chairs now!? LOL :) I already have a walker in my house, should I need one!? But could use a wheel chair & scooter!? My best friend told me with all my falls I'd qualify for a scooter! I thik that I will try to get one!? If my van ain't running I could ride it to the grocery store!!! LOL :) It would be fun just to ride on it for now!? :)
But, if I had to, it wouldn't be fun anymore!!!!
