Some days I feel great, I wake up full of energy. A couple of hours later I'm done. I'm unreliable, I know it. I would contact the NMSS and ask them for advice on the legal way to handle it.
People here should have some good advice also. xoxo Jen
It's a reason I cannot work either. It could be MS-related, but it could also have alot to do with your diet, what you eat for lunch, your vitamin intake, a deficiency, age, etc... or a combination.
I would make an appt with your Primary and get some bloodwork done to rule out any issues there. Just let them know how you feel so they know where to look for any potential problems. If everything comes back ok, then you will know it's MS-related ONLY.
In the meantime, I would look into your short-term disability plan at work in case it ends up being something you need.
Good luck!

It has been a big thing financially to cut our household income down by a good $250 per week but we have made the adjustments. You get used to it. I do feel a lot happier.
Maybe look to see if this is an option for you. Good luck
I hope you feel better...is there any way you can cut back on your hours ?? I think that would help me but I can't afford it.
This went on for about 3-4 months and on top of that my vision was going. At the urging of my neuro I had to go on disability. In my situation, after 15 years of employment, I wasn't given much help. Sorry your going through this, it's a desperate feeling.
my MS is the same... i fall apart within minutes. i can have symptoms pile on within the day. the doc at Mayo understood this and siad my MS is a little unusual in this aspect as the symptoms pour on so rapidly.
hang in there...i think we need to develop the attitude simply to care for ourselves. put ourselves first. we cannot continually worry about what someone thinks or believe's they know about us. we have to stand up and be strong... we cannot carry the burden of those who do not understand MS....we have enough of our own to carry around.
